Steve advises boards, founders, CEOs, and investors on strategy, governance, and risk, helping organizations drive growth with energy, clarity, and focus. He brings simplicity to complex situations, aligning people and objectives around purpose and measurable outcomes.

Previously, Steve led EY’s Americas Financial Services Cyber & Privacy practice, overseeing its transformation and delivering more than fourfold growth in five years across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. He also chaired the firm’s Americas Cyber Advisory Board and earlier served as PwC’s Asia-Pacific Cyber Leader, following senior roles on PwC’s ASEANZ Markets Council and as Australia’s Risk Practice Leader. Steve was also a founding board member of the Australian Cyber Advisory Board, the capstone of Australia’s public–private partnerships in the fight against cyber threats.

Earlier in his career, Steve served with the Federal Police, where he learned firsthand how fragile public trust can be and how vital collaboration is when systems come under pressure. That perspective continues to guide his approach today: no matter how technical the issue, resolution comes down to people and collaboration.

As a Board Member of ICITech, Steve helps advance debate and focus on the modernization and resilience of critical national infrastructure through pragmatic collaboration between the public and private sectors. He is currently completing a Master of Legal Studies in Business Law at Texas A&M University, complementing his qualifications in finance, investment, and psychology.

Quote

“Resilience pivots on trust, and trust depends on people. As AI reshapes how we defend and operate critical systems, ICIT brings government and industry together around that simple truth: collaboration is how we protect what matters most.”
